Areas of Interest and Experience

Sheree Walsh is the Administrative Coordinator for the Center for Hazardous Substance Research (CHSR) and the TAB Event Coordinator for the Technical Assistance to Brownfields (KSU TAB) Project, funded by EPA.

Responsibilities for CHSR include assisting with grant proposal and technical report preparation; conducting research and literature reviews in support of specific projects; searches to locate viable funding opportunities, preparation of Center publications; maintaining the Center website; organization of Center events, seminars, and conferences; Center accounts payable.

Responsibilities for the KSU TAB project include coordination with TAB team members and partners, State and EPA Brownfields representatives, and local environmental organizations and government offices to plan, organize, and publicize brownfields-related workshops and webinars in the 21 states of EPA Regions 5, 6, 7 and 8.  She maintains the KSU TAB website including the TABEZ grant-proposal preparation software, and is the contact person for the KSU TAB webpage to answer questions and resolve technical issues associated with User accounts, workshops, webinars, online training, and the TABEZ and BIT national online tools. Sheree has worked in higher education since 1985.
