Open to all
high school seniors meeting the following criteria: Composite ACT Score of
29 or above, cumulative high school GPA: 3.75, and class rank: top 15%. For
more information, contact 785-532-6686 or engineer.career@ksu.edu.

at (785) 532-6686 or by email at scholarships@engg.ksu.edu.
The scholarship application and transcripts are reviewed for many
things. For incoming freshmen we consider ACT scores -- both math and
composite, cumulative GPA, rank in class, grade trends, courses taken,
activities and honors. For transfer students, we consider cumulative
GPA and total credit hours, along with courses taken and activities.
If you are awarded a College of Engineering scholarship, the award
letter will show the amount of your scholarship and include an
acceptance form for you to complete. Although you may not be sure
that K-State or the College of Engineering is for you, accepting the
engineering scholarship when you receive the offer is wise. If you choose to attend another university or decide not to enter
engineering, you can always inform us when you make that decision.
Please address any concerns or questions regarding your scholarship
application status or any other scholarship questions directly to Patty Berens, scholarship coordinator. The direct number is 785-532-6686,
E-mail is scholarships@engg.ksu.edu.
Continuing students
- Students continuing their studies in the College of Engineering must
apply each year for scholarships. This includes students with renewable
scholarships. Please do so by using the on-line form at http://www.ksu.edu/sfa.
