Washington D.C. to Charlottesville, VA:It started out raining and the rain continued the entire race. There was a lot of hoopla in our nations capitol, and got some good photo ops in front of the Capitol building. There was an initial parade run before actually. We had no problems in the rain and finished 6th for the day.

Day 2, Charlottesville, VA to Raleigh, NC: We decided to use some strategy and not race today. The weather continued to be rainy and cloudy so we trailered to the finish line to catch some sun and save our batteries. Only two teams were able to avoid trailering today. Both of which ended up in top places overall in the race. Note: Sorry, no pictures for this day!
