SAS tutor requirements
- Must have been a student at K-State for at least one semester
- Must have attended SAS at least one time to be considered for the position
- Received an A or B in the class you are assigned to tutor
- Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0
- Attend each lecture of the class you tutor
- Schedule a minimum of 10 hours per week in the Collaborative Learning Lab of tutoring time
- Schedule, plan, and conduct test review sessions
- Attend monthly professional development sessions
- Follow all Kansas State University academic rules, regulations, and expectations
- Engage in proper behavior befitting student employees working with students, professors, graduate students, and other personnel in an educational setting
- Professional conduct in dress and communication (written, verbal, and electronic) with the students I am serving and the faculty I am collaborating with
We are now accepting tutor applications for fall 2024. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, and we will continue hiring until all needs for the fall semester are met. First round of interviews will be offered after April 24. Applications past this date will still be considered for remaining openings. Previous applicants are encouraged to re-apply.
