This timeline is intended to serve as a guide for engineering faculty, staff and graduate students working on proposals to facilitate effective proposal development and to eliminate potential problems. For most published Request for Proposals (RFPs), allowing more than 90 days for locating program funding, contacting funding agency and/or developing a proposal concept is often beneficial. In some cases an RFP may be posted with a shorter period for preparation and submission. EES and PAS will do their best to assist the faculty to prepare the proposal and meet the deadline.
