Scholars Assisting Scholars (SAS) is a tutoring program in the College of Engineering that supports students in the foundational mathematics, physics and computer programming courses for all engineering students.

MAPS Summer Counselor Application info

MEP seeks to fill 2-3 positions as MAPS Peer Counselors each spring semester for a six week summer academic program.

MEP Hourly Student Worker

The Multicultural Engineering Program hires one hourly student worker each fall and spring semester for a minimum 12 hours per week. Please fill out an application form and turn it in with your resume, cover letter, and course schedule at 1056 Rathbone Hall, Manhattan, KS 66506. Position curently filled, no applications accepted. 

Duties include:

  • Assist MEP Director and Administrative Assistant
  • Edit, format, design documents using Microsoft Office, Publisher
  • Do clerical work: filing, copies, errands
  • Answer phone and help students with questions
  • Three recruitment trips in Fall to Emporia, Dodge City, and Garden City on weekends
