Students and Faculty in the News

  • Bill Zhang, ARE/CNS, presented before the technical committee on methods of design at the Structures Congress in Pittsburgh, Penn., in May.
  • Brian Larson, CIS graduate student, presented papers at the 5th NASA Formal Methods Symposium, NASA Ames Research Center, Moffett Field, Calif., and at the 5th International Workshop on Software Engineering in Health Care in San Francisco in May.
  • James Edgar, department head and Tom H. Barrett professor in chemical engineering, has been named one of five new Kansas State University distinguished professors.
  • Bobb Stokes and Mustaque Hossain, CE, as well as CE graduate student, Matt Arnold, were the subjects of articles in the Iowa State Institute for Transportation newsletter Go!, which recently featured their research.
