Federal Expressions of Strength

The Federal Expressions of Strength, or FES, book is prepared annually by the K-State Governmental Relations Office for members and staff of the Kansas Congressional Delegation to identify specific areas of strength at K-State.

Dr. Sue Peterson and Dr. Jim Guikema presented a workshop, "Understanding Opportunities for Federal, State and Agency Funding" on October 23, 2013. A recording of the workshop can be viewed below.

This presentation is an introduction to how federal appropriations work and offers tips for effectively communicating a snapshot for non-technical audiences.
