Faculty and Staff Development

The ERGP office coordinates professional development activities to help faculty and staff involved in research and proposal development. The activities disseminate information about resources and tools available on campus as well as best practices for research funding, scholarly publications, collaborative research and more.

In areas of faculty development, initial efforts have focused on providing assistance to tenure-track faculty with research careers. The Tenure-Track Faculty Network involves monthly meetings with senior faculty, research administrators and other key staff to offer advice and suggestions on building a successful research portfolio. Additionally, a list of tenure-track faculty and corresponding one-page bios are available. ERGP also and promotes workshops and seminars on campus and in the region that are sponsored by funding agencies.

ERGP also sponsors several professional development opportunities for all faculty.
