BNSF Railway Career Spotlight -- Monday, Sept. 18
Interested in learning more about working at BNSF? BNSF hires mechanical, electrical, industrial and civil engineering majors, as well as computer science majors. Attend one of the following events to learn more:

  • Information Table: 1:30-3 p.m., Fiedler Hall atrium
  • Presentation: 4:30-5:00 p.m., 1109 Engineering Hall

Students who attend the presentation will be entered to win prizes. Following the presentation, join us for pizza at the Career Spotlight Social. Please note, in order to receive pizza, you will need to attend the presentation.

 

All-University Career Fair
The Career Center and K-State will be hosting 350+ employers at the annual All-University Career Fair. Employers will be recruiting engineering and technology majors on Wednesday, Sept. 20 and Thursday, Sept. 21 from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. at Bramlage Coliseum. There is no need to preregister, just bring your K-State ID to Bramlage Coliseum and begin networking.

 

ACM Industry Series Presents: Paycom -- Sept. 20
ACM's Industry Series will be continuing with a talk from Paycom on Wednesday, Sept. 20 at 6pm in DUE 1114. Paycom is a payroll and HR software company based out of Oklahoma City. Representatives from Paycom will be sharing more about what a typical software developer does at the company and possible opportunities in related roles.

ACM Fall Programming Contest -- Sept. 23
Mark your calendars! The fall programming contest will take place on Saturday, Sept. 23. The event is a great way to improve your programming skills and potentially win an awesome prize for your hard work. Anyone who is interested in programming, regardless of programming experience, is encouraged to participate! Sign up at acm.cs.ksu.edu/signup.

ACM weekly help sessions
Need help with a class or just want to hang out? Look no further. ACM hosts weekly help sessions every Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. in DUE 1116.

Industrial engineering senior presents research at state environmental conference
Carolyn Countess, senior in industrial engineering, presented research from her internship with the Kansas State University Pollution Prevention Intern Program at the Kansas Environmental Conference on Aug. 10.
