K-State Family hosting Unity Walk and KSUnite
All students, faculty and staff are encouraged to unite together to reaffirm who we are, what we value and what we stand for as the K-State family. Everyone is encouraged to wear purple. The event will take place rain or shine.

  • 1-1:30 p.m. - Walk to Anderson Hall lawn
  • 1:30 p.m. - Reaffirm our values with university and community leaders during the KSUnite program
  • Join conversations about inclusive education, reflection and action in the K-State Student Union following the program
 

Tau Beta Pi canned food drive
This year's drive will take place during the week of Nov. 13-17. All donations will be going to Flint Hills Breadbasket, the local food bank. If you would like to donate food or money, a collection box can be found in your departmental office. To be fair to smaller departments, the winner is based on cans per capita. Items needed the most right now Flint Hills Breadbasket include the following:

  • Pancake syrup
  • Peanut butter and jelly
  • Canned meat
  • Oatmeal - hot (Instant oatmeal packets)
  • Hamburger and tuna boxed meals (Hamburger helper)
  • Monetary donations accepted ($1 = 1 can for the competition)
 

Student assistants needed for spring 2018
The College of Engineering Office of Recruitment, SAS Tutoring and Fiedler Learning Commons are hiring student assistants to work at the front desks in each office for the spring 2018 semester. Multiple part-time positions available. Duties will include answering phones, greeting faculty, students and visitors, as well as other duties, which vary by office. To apply, please pick up an application in one of the offices listed.
