Dunja Peric, CE, has been appointed visiting fellow at the University of New South Wales, Australia.

Robert Liam Reill, CE, has been awarded the Brother Austin Barry National Chi Epsilon Scholarship.

Civil engineering’s steel bridge team came in 2nd at regional competition and became eligible for its 8th consecutive appearance at nationals to be held in May. Faculty adviser is Hayder Rasheed, CE.

Jonathan Vanier, CE, was selected as a finalist for an ACI Student Fellowship and will present his graduate research at the annual convention of the American Concrete Institute in Dallas in March.

Wilson Smith, CE, was one of two K-State graduate students to receive a $500 scholarship for his research efforts presented at the ninth annual Capitol Graduate Research Summit in Topeka.
