Hayder Rasheed, CE, co-authored the paper “Analytical Solution of Interface Shear Stresses in Externally Bonded FRP-Strengthened Concrete Beams,” published in the ASCE Journal of Engineering Mechanics.

Rasheed was also invited by The University of Queensland, Australia, to examine a Ph.D. degree thesis for a student from the School of Civil Engineering there.

Graduate students win 2012 Research of the State competition

Graduate students Feraidon Ataie, CE, advisor Kyle Riding, and Vahid Rahmani, BAE, advisor Stacy Hutchinson, were among the winners in the 2012 Research of the State competition. They will go on to represent K-State at the Capitol Graduate Research Summit in February.
