The Great Plains Chapter of the International Concrete Repair Insitute Scholarship

  • Three available scholarship of $1500 each
  • Applicants must be Junior, Senior, or Graduate Student in Civil or Architectural Engineering
  • Deadline is June 10

Heavy Constructor's Association Industry Advancement Fund Scholarship

  • Qualifications: must be full time student, demonstrate financial need, and demonstrate a commitment to obtaining a career in heavy construction
  • Preference will be given to Kansas City metro area residents, children of construction industry employees, and individuals who have a plan to seek summer employment in construction
  • Applicaitons can be found in the CE Main Office or at the website http://www.heavyconstructors.org/

Internships

The City of Wichita is looking for 8 interns to conduct inflow and infiltration testing on the sewer system. Employment will begin May 23 and end August 7 with an hourly rate of $13/hour. No application will be needed from students at this time. Interested students should submit resumes (including anticipated graduation date) to Penny Feist via pfeist@wichita.gov by May 6. Interviews will take place the week of May 9. If you have any questions, contact Penny Feist via the previously listed email.
