Call for Papers L.E. Erickson Department of Chemical Engineering, Durland Hall, Kansas State University, Manhattan, KS 66506-5102 Electronic Publication The Journal of Hazardous Substance Research is a peer-reviewed electronic journal available on the Internet at http://www.engg.ksu.edu/HSRC/JHSR. Each paper is contained in a PDF file, allowing authors to include appendices which include multimedia content. Papers are made available on the Web site as soon as the review process has been completed, the accepted manuscript has been edited by the production editor, and the final proof returned by the authors. The work is immediately available throughout the world to all interested readers who have access to the Internet. Scope The editors will consider for publication original articles and reviews that deal with all aspects of hazardous substance research. These include remediation of contaminated soil, sediments, and groundwater; stabilization and reclamation of mine lands; hazardous substance management; pollution prevention; environmental fate and transport; risk management; site assessment; analytical methods; innovative technologies; toxicology; ecotoxicology; geochemistry; hydrogeology; transformation and separation processes; and agricultural chemical management. Basic and applied manuscripts which include new theory, models, methods, and/or experimental results will be considered. Submission Papers should include both a printed and an electronic version. The electronic version must be in one of the following formats: Word or Rich Text Format (.rtf). If possible, a copy of all images should be included separately in electronic format in addition to being present in the paper. Acceptable image formats are .tif and .gif.
