- Recycle Cycle , The Pledge to Renew, the week of September 27, 2009. The Bureau of Waste Management/Kansas Department of Health and Environment is hosting a promotional and awareness building event designed to feature proper environmental stewardship practices that center around issues central to waste management. A core group of bicycle riders from KDHE will pedal from Colorado to Missouri the week of September 27. Others are encouraged to participate along the route where practical and as time allows. Media event are planned each day at specific locations along the route to build this awareness. Route/daily departure information can be found at http://www.RecycleCycle.Org
